The Scottish Event Campus (SEC) has announced two senior appointments as it looks to build on a record year for conferences, exhibitions and live entertainment.

Dawn Lauder has been promoted to director of Conference Sales, succeeding Kathleen Warden, who is stepping down after 25 years with the organisation. Lauder, who joined the SEC in 2009, has previously held roles including head of International Sales and head of Association Sales. She played a key role in securing major international events, including COP26.

Andrew Healy has been appointed chief financial officer. He joins from DM Hall, where he served as financial director, and brings more than three decades of experience across sectors including property, legal, sport and the arts. His previous roles include finance director at Scottish Rugby, as well as senior positions with the Law Society of Scotland. He has also served as a non-executive director and trustee of the Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh.

SEC chief executive Dominic McKay said Lauder’s experience made her “the perfect leader” to drive the next phase of growth in the conference business. He added that Healy brings “a wealth of financial and strategic experience” that will support future investment plans. McKay also paid tribute to Warden’s “incredible history” with the organisation, noting she will remain in an advisory role.

Warden said her time at the SEC had been “a privilege and an honour” and that she was pleased to continue supporting the organisation.

On her appointment Lauder said: “As a strong advocate for business events and having worked in the industry for 17 years, I’m delighted to be stepping into this role at such an exciting time for the SEC. I’m looking forward to working with our incredible sales team to continue securing world-class conferences for the SEC, Glasgow, and Scotland.”

The appointments follow a record year in 2025, during which the SEC hosted 52 conferences, 55 exhibitions and 269 live performances, attracting more than 2.3 million visitors across its venues.
