Meet Cambridge, the conference and events bureau for Cambridge and the region, is working with ExCeL London to offer association meeting planners an extended range of services.
The collaboration will involve working closely on relevant conference bids, to offer organisers the opportunity to enhance London-based conferences and events, with pre or post-specialist seminars, training courses, dinners and symposia for groups of between 10 and 500.
Judith Sloane, deputy manager at Meet Cambridge, said: “We are delighted to be working in conjunction with ExCeL London to attract even more association conferences to the UK.
"Cambridge is just 45 minutes from the capital, so organisers will find it very easy to host pre or post conference events here. Add to this, the opportunity for associations to tap into the region’s intellectual capital and we believe that we have a winning combination which really will help organisers to add value to their London-based congresses.
“Whether it’s identifying a keynote speaker of world-renown, finding a venue, organising a visit, accessing our extensive network of event suppliers or arranging a dinner, we look forward to supporting a wide range of future events.”
