Identity,
the events agency whose projects have included various G7, COP and NATO summits, has cemented
its foothold in the Middle East by opening a new office in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK).
The
UK-based company already has two offices in the UAE - one
in Dubai and the other in Abu Dhabi, both of which opened in 2023 - and now
has three bases in the country.
The
company has quickly established a reputation
in the region, delivering events such as COP28, the Dubai Business
Forum for Dubai Chambers, and
the AVPN Global Conference.
The opening
of the RAK office is expected to further strengthen Identity Middle East's
ability to provide responsive and tailored services
to its clients, while also creating new opportunities for community engagement and collaboration
within the region.
Ray
Tinston, managing director of Identity Middle East, said: “Ras Al Khaimah’s
dynamic growth and strategic location make it an ideal base for our operations. The emirate’s strong commitment to sustainability
aligns perfectly with Identity’s core values, enabling us to better
serve our clients
while contributing to sustainable development in the region.”
Ras Al Khaimah was chosen
for its proximity to key markets,
its skilled workforce, and ‘favourable business environment’. In 2023,
the emirate recorded 1.22m overnight arrivals, with a 40 per cent increase in
international visitors, highlighting its appeal as a business and tourism
destination.
The emirate
has also become
a key hub for international events, hosting significant conferences such as the Arab Aviation
Summit, the Pacific
Asia Travel Association (PATA) Annual Summit and the World
Tourism Forum Lucerne Start-Up Innovation Summit.
