A conference focused on the digital transformation of public services has been inked in for the next three years following a tie-up between Kenes Group and city leaders in Madrid.

The Spanish capital welcomed more than 1,000 delegates to the inaugural Govtech 4 Impact World Congress (G4I)last year and is keen to build on the success of the event.

The three-day show, which assembles government officials from all over the world, was initiated by the Kenes ‘Original Events’ team, which has 40 events on emerging topics under its belt.

The aim is to grow Govtech 4 Impact, which last year hosted1,047 participants and 165 speakers from 51 countries, and double the number of international participants.

Madrid’s commitment to host the G4I Congress for the next three yearssignals its intent to position itself as a hub for innovation in governance and digital transformation.

José Luis Martínez-Almeida Navasqüés, Mayor of Madrid, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming the Govtech 4 Impact World Congress in 2025 with the firm conviction that this edition will surpass all the expectations and will help establish the congress and Madrid city as flagships in governmental technologies and digital transformation”.

Ori Lahav, CEO of Kenes Group, added: G4I 2025 will build on the strong foundation of its inaugural edition to create an even greater platform for collaboration, innovation, and impact. By bringing together the brightest minds in GovTech, we aim to help governments worldwide address challenges, embrace opportunities, and drive meaningful transformation.”

G4I 2025 promises an expanded programme, new tracks, and more networking.
