Antwerp proves to be a magnet for medical conferences

Antwerp is set to welcome six major medical conferences in 2025, bringing together thousands of experts, researchers, and industry leaders.

Among the major medical conferences coming to Antwerp in 2025 are:

  • EMCA (International Institute for Tropical Medicine) – March 25-28, 2025
  • International Sleep and Breathing ESRS Conference – April 10-12, 2025
  • European Conference on Healthcare Engineering – May 21-23, 2025
  • European Society for Dermatological Research Annual Meeting – September 10-13, 2025
  • European Conference on Mental Health – September 10-12, 2025
  • Snomed International Conference – October 22-24, 2025

A combination of a renowned healthcare ecosystem, coupled with infrastructure and institutions like the Institute of Tropical Medicine, Vaccinopolis, and the Innovation Hub Dunden, has proved Antwerp to be a fitting choice for international events focusing on medical advancements.

Beyond healthcare, Antwerp is also making waves in the tech sector. Recognised as one of Europe’s emerging technology hubs, the city will host a series of tech events, including

  • SuperNova – An event showcasing breakthrough technology, AI, and future innovations. (March 27-28, 2025)
  • DDD Europe – A software development conference, bringing together experts in domain-driven design, engineering, and tech leadership. (June 2-4, 2025)
