Taiwan is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts and it’s easy to reach the mountains or coast within 30 minutes to an hour from all major cities. For a half-day sightseeing tour, for example, consider taking attendees in Taipei on a leisurely hike in Yangmingshan National Park, known for its unique volcanic terrain and hot springs. In the maritime city of Kaohsiung, a half-day yacht tour offers a delightful escape. Taiwan boasts a rich culinary culture, offering everything from Michelin-starred restaurants to delicious street food. For event catering, there are many options including a feast in historic Tainan featuring Taiwan's signature snacks. Xiaolongbao, for instance, come in classic flavours such as meat and green squash, as well as sweet variations filled with chocolate or sweet bean paste. Another popular choice is Gua Bao, a steamed bun filled with meat, pickled mustard greens, peanut powder and cilantro, which has become increasingly popular in Europe and the USA in recent years. In Taiwan's international gateway Taoyuan, attendees can enjoy bubble tea made with high mountain tea and explore unique Hakka and tea-infused dishes.
