Bangkok's QSNCC
to host ICCA 2023

Thailand’s leading convention venue,
Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC),
is proud to welcome 1,000 attendees from around 100 countries
to the 62nd ICCA Congress in November

With the theme of ‘Creativity, Sustainability and Infinite Possibilities’, this year’s ICCA Congress hopes to leave a lasting cultural and professional impact on attendees through its educational programme and focus on sustainability.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with the QSNCC, a truly remarkable state-of-the-art venue, and one that will give our delegates a complete and unforgettable congress experience,” says ICCA CEO Senthil Gopinath. “We are working closely with stakeholders and partners in Thailand to ensure we all deliver something that goes beyond usual expectations to leave a lasting cultural and professional impact on those attending.

“We look forward to showcasing how ICCA uses the power of education, innovation and collaboration to shape our wider industry and, in doing so, benefit society.

"We are counting down the days until we can all enjoy the colour, spectacle and hospitality that only Bangkok can deliver.”

A perfect fit

The QSNCC offers all the flexible space the ICCA Congress will need for plenary sessions, breakout meetings as well as networking functions. It will also assist with security. High service levels are guaranteed thanks to the world-renowned Thai hospitality.

This is the third time Thailand has hosted the ICCA Congress. The first took place in Bangkok in 1985 and the second in Pattaya in 2007.

“QSNCC intends to heighten the value of the meetings where inspiration is ignited and experience is inscribed in meeting attendees,” says Surapol Utintu, CEO, N.C.C. Management & Development Co., Ltd, operator of QSNCC. “ICCA Annual Congress in Bangkok is a perfect fit for us as it is a high-profile gathering of meeting professionals of all generations across the globe. The venue’s ambience, sustainability initiatives, convenient location and accessibility, green space, world-class facilities, professional staff and Thai hospitality are key ingredients for the enhanced value we are to deliver with our heart and soul.”

Focus on sustainability

The ICCA Congress demands high environmental standards, which aligns well with the development of the QSNCC.

With its environmentally-friendly design and use of technical innovations, key features of the Centre’s sustainability initiatives include its architecture, reduced use of electricity and energy-efficiency management, eco-friendly waste disposal and use of local suppliers and produce.

Located at the heart of the Bangkok Business District, access is easy thanks to a walkway connecting to the Metropolitan Rapid Transit, which also helps to reduce the carbon footprint of events.

The QSNCC reflects local cultural characteristics in its public art and interior design. Landscaping emphasises its connection to Benjakitti Park and there is also a light-filled amphitheatre. And it has achieved an impressive range of environmental awards and certification.

QSNCC is looking forward to the pleasure of welcoming all delegates to ICCA Congress 2023 from 12-15 November, Bangkok, Thailand.
