Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) has appointed a new CEO.
Tan Mei Phing has been officially confirmed in the role, having served as acting chief executive since August 2024. She has been with MyCEB for more than 13 years.
In a Linkedin post, MyCEB said: "We are pleased to announce the appointment of Miss Tan Mei Phing as our chief executive officer. Under her leadership, we are excited to achieve new milestones and drive success in the business events industry.
"Please join us in welcoming Miss Tan Mei Phing to her new role."
Last week MyCEB hosted the MyCEB Association Day 2025 at Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur, bringing together leaders from key industry associations to promote the growth of Malaysia’s business events sector. The event, themed "The Power of Business Events Through Associations," highlighted the crucial role of associations in attracting significant international conferences and establishing Malaysia as a preferred destination for global business events.
