ICCA UK and Ireland has extended the early bird period for registration to its annual conference in Hull.
And the chapter has also cancelled the virtual element of the conference due to financial viability.
In an email, ICCA UK and Ireland secretary Julie Watterston said: "As many organisations are taking longer to approve staff travel, we have extended our Early Bird deadline for in-person attendance up to Friday 3rd September which is the closing date for registrations. This means that the cost remains as previously at £210 for ICCA members and £265 for non-ICCA members. Sadly we have had to cancel the virtual attendance option due to financial viability."
The ICCA UK & Ireland Annual Conference takes place in Hull on Thursday 9 and Friday 10 September and is open to both ICCA members and non-members.
Watterston added: "We want all delegates to feel comfortable during their in-person attendance. Extra spacing will be provided between seats in the main conference room and the venue has a mask-wearing policy when in all public areas. We will of course keep you updated with any government guidelines that are in place at the time of the event and full information about our COVID procedures will be sent out with the joining instructions to delegates several days before the conference."
