People, planet, purpose, and profit in the context of glocalisation, is the theme of the 2024 Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) knowledge programme.
Glocalisation, a portmanteau of 'globalisation' and 'local', looks at how to adapt a global product for a local market. Organisers said the theme, ‘The 4Ps of Glocalisation', will look at how to build relationships between global insights and local nuances in the context of events.
AIME keynotes, marketing executive Lisa Ronson and author, TV host and founder of the 100 Things movement, Sebastian Terry, will explore the way eventprofs can use glocalisation to their and their client's advantage.
“To me, glocalisation is the idea that the foundation to creating a thriving and connected community is ensuring that we empower individuals and local teams to become the best version of themselves within a like-minded network,” said Terry
Breakout sessions across the knowlegde programme will highlight how to align a glocalisation mindset with the 4Ps to achieve deeper brand engagement and sustainable business success
The AIME Knowledge Programme has been curated by BEAM Founder and 2024 AIMEbassador El Kwang. AIME event director Silke Calder said: “We reflected on the feedback from last year’s program and are excited to work with El Kwang of BEAM and a passionate advisory committee to carefully curate a program that aims to spotlight luminaries and trailblazers, fostering an environment where participants can select the specific ‘P’ that resonates most profoundly with their unique business objectives and professional growth.”
