Conference Care has been appointed global venue sourcing partner for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), following a competitive tender process.

The partnership will see Conference Care source venues for RICS’s international events programme, covering conferences, awards ceremonies, governance meetings, specialist training and its Matrics early-career programme across the UK.

The agreement covers venue sourcing across Europe, Asia-Pacific, India, China and North America, with Conference Care providing negotiation support, access to competitive rates and account management.

The company will also use its MeetingsHub digital platform to give RICS real-time visibility of spend and savings, alongside management information and KPI-driven performance reporting.

Venue selection will be aligned with RICS’s requirements around ethics, inclusion, cultural sensitivity, accessibility and governance.

“I’m delighted to be working in partnership with RICS, an organisation with a global reputation for professionalism, quality and high standards. From the outset, there has been a real sense of shared ambition around creating an efficient, consistent and high-quality approach to venue sourcing,” said Sofia Tranter, head of new business at Conference Care.

Pauline Beattie, MD at Conference Care, added: “We’re looking forward to building a strong, long-term relationship with the RICS team, supporting their diverse programme of events and delivering a service that provides value, transparency and an excellent experience for their teams, members and attendees.”
