The US-based Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) is bringing its European flagship meeting to ‘the world most liveable city’.

Convening EMEA will take place at the Messe Austria Exhibition & Congress Centre, 28-30 September 2022, under the banner ‘Together we move forward’.

The conference will include keynotes by Gerd Leonhard, futurist and humanist, David Meade, international speaker and Colleen Bisconti, VP events and experiences IBM.

The omnichannel event will bring together experts from the corporate and association sectors – from technology companies to medical associations – to discuss challenges.

Delegates will be able to join ‘Exploration Tours’ of Vienna, recently name the most liveable city in the world for the tenth time by The Economist.

Seven specially curated city tours will provide participants insight into the diverse opportunities Vienna offers as a conference metropolis.

Jaimé Bennett, regional director of PCMA EMEA, said: "Convening EMEA will create a platform for our entire industry where voices are heard, learnings are shared, and collaboration is the key to building a stronger future together.

“We are looking forward to welcoming our industry to Vienna, a city that has evolved over centuries where tradition meets modernism, sustainability meets inclusivity.

“The programme has been built across three themes: Future, Engagement and Planning. This coupled with our partnership with Vienna and their stakeholders will ensure an experience for attendees like never before.”
