The Northstar/Cvent
Meetings Industry PULSE Survey, a key benchmarking tool for
meeting and event planners in the US, is now global as we reach out to planners
worldwide for the first time.
This includes
Europe, where we are launching the survey for the first time. This also marks
the first cycle of the survey that will be compared to planners globally.
We're keen to
understand the current opportunities and challenges in Europe’s meeting and
event landscape: the survey covers
everything from RFP response times to hotel service levels, AI to sustainability, air fares
to buyer-supplier relations.
NMG-UK editorial
director James Lancaster said: “There’s a lot to think about when planning meetings and events, but
making decisions without access to market trends adds a layer of frustration
and risk. The Pulse survey means you no longer
have to work on a hunch or hearsay. Every decision you make can be weighed
against the experience of your peers."
He added: "Our colleagues in Singapore are sending out a similar survey to
planners in Asia, allowing you to compare your circumstances, not just with
peers in Europe, but around the world.”
The survey is brief, taking
less than three minutes to complete. As a token of appreciation, planners will
be eligible to win one of five £100 (or equivalent) gift cards upon completion
of the survey. They will also be among the first receive a first look at the
analysed data in early April.
