Organisational psychologist, author and podcaster Adam Grant
has been announced as the opening keynote at Convening Leaders 2026 (CL26).
Grant, author of bestsellers Think Again and Hidden
Potential, and host of the WorkLife and Re:Thinking podcasts, will give
participants tips on how to build the character skills, structures and systems
that accelerate learning in his keynote titled: Hidden Potential: Unlocking
Excellence in Yourself and Others at CL26’s opening on 11 January.
CL26, taking place 11–14 January in Philadelphia,
marks organiser PCMA’s 70th anniversary. Grant joins a host of top speakers
already slated to appear, including Zanny Minton Beddoes, editor-in-chief of The
Economist; Emmy-winning host, actress, and entrepreneur Tabitha Brown and comedian,
producer and author Trevor Noah.
Sherrif Karamat, CAE, PCMA and CEMA president and CEO, said Grant, a Philadelphia native and one of the world's foremost thinkers on human potential, will challenge the audience to see 'potential not just as talent,
but as growth in motion'.
“When we open
Convening Leaders 2026 kicking off 70 years of making history together, Adam’s
message will inspire our community to unlock excellence within themselves and
their organizations - fuelling transformation across the global business events
