Cvent, the event technology giant, has announced the agenda and opened registration for its ninth annual Cvent CONNECT Europe, with television presenter and athlete Ade Adepitan and advertising executive Rory Sutherland among the headline speakers.

Taking place at the InterContinental London - The O2 on October 20-22, the three-day conference will bring together event, marketing and hospitality professionals to explore the future of meetings and events.

Hosted by event presenter and emcee Leanne Joseph, the programme will feature keynote sessions, training camps, curated networking, tech tours, product roadmaps and Cvent’s industry Excellence Awards.

Other speakers include Clay head of EMEA partnerships Ferran Puig, LinkedIn UK head of marketing Terry Rand, Goat Agency senior account director Jack Edwards, and BAFTA award-winning retreat facilitator and TEDx speaker Abi Osho. Comedian Joel Dommett will host the Excellence Awards.

Cvent founder and CEO Reggie Aggarwal will deliver the opening keynote, sharing his perspective on the future of meetings and events, the impact of technology and AI, and the implications for planners, marketers and hospitality professionals.

“Demand for face-to-face events is booming, but event planners, marketers and hospitality professionals still need guidance on how to create meetings and conferences that truly drive outcomes. While ours is an industry rooted in connection and memory, it is also one that can help businesses meaningfully add to their sales pipeline.” said Felicia Asiedu, marketing director for Europe at Cvent.

“We’re incredibly passionate about bringing this performance potential to life, and are really looking forward to sharing best practices, strategic guidance and tips on creating unforgettable experiences.”
