Held under the theme ‘charting the course’, the upcoming International Conference and Convention Association (ICCA) Congress in Porto, Portugal is set to be a ‘groundbreaking’ event.

Between 9-12 November 2025, more than 1,500 delegates are set to meet in multiple venues across the Portuguese city - an event strategy designed to take the congress beyond the conference centre walls an into the ‘azulejo-tiled streets’ of the city.’

"With Porto as our host, this year's Congress is certain to break records," said ICCA CEO Dr. Senthil Gopinath. "The theme is 'Charting the Course,' and it perfectly represents ICCA's mission as we head into the future. With uncertainties and upheaval clouding the horizon, it's up to leaders in the field like ICCA to keep a steady focus on the issues that matter most to our members, and we intend to make this experience one to remember."

Through its education programme and networking opportunities, the 64th ICCA Congress will emphasise inclusivity, versatility, and experiential immersion. Content programme themes include, innovation and technology, future leadership and resilience, creativity as catalyst, global impact and sustainability, and purposeful business models.

"Porto is ready to inspire the world. Hosting the ICCA Congress is more than an honour," said Visit Porto and North of Portugal - Convention & Visitors Bureau President Luis Pedro Martins. "It’s a commitment to transforming our industry. Our destination, shaped by history, culture, discovery and innovation, will be the stage where we come together to chart a course for the future. With dedication, creativity, and a strong sense of purpose, Porto and Portugal proudly stand as active partners in building a global legacy of progress and connection."
