One of the industry's driving forces behind creating legacy and impact through business events is celebrating five years in operation.

Cofounded by friends, Geneviève Leclerc and Jacques Blanchet, the meeting legacy consultancy, #MEET4IMPACT exists to ‘empower organisations and communities to maximise positive social impact through events.’

To celebrate five years since its inception, #MEET4IMPACT has launched its ‘5-Year Impact Report’, which chronicles the shared journey towards defining and measuring the social impacts of business events. It highlights key milestones, challenges, and successes, showcasing the industry's journey towards sustainability and societal impact.

“This transition requires humility, transparency, and a commitment to continuous learning. Through this report, we aim to inspire others in the industry while holding ourselves accountable for our past actions and future endeavours,” said Leclerc.

Focused on educating clients and their stakeholders, #MEET4IMPACT have trained more than 819 people across over 77 organisations.

Case study

The European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL) collaborated with #MEET4IMPACT and ExCeL London on a transformative project at the 2022 International Liver Congress in London.

The Love Your Liver project, aimed to address key gaps in hepatology care and public awareness of liver health.

Through the project, 60 primary school students learnt about liver health, with 88 per cent agreeing that taking care of the liver is important after the session. Additionally, 93 per cent of students were able to correctly explain the function of the liver, and 75 per cent mentioned that exercise was beneficial for liver health.
