Switzerland’s economic and scientific hub, Zurich, will play host to
the International Congress and Convention Association’s (ICCA) Future of
Healthcare Meeting 2024.
ICCA, an umbrella organisation for association meetings,
will take its third instalment of the annual Future of Healthcare Meeting to Messe
Zurich between 15-17 April, 2024. The meeting is expected to bring together more than
100 association professionals to discuss best practices for healthcare
meetings.
Some of the key factors that led to ICCA’s decision to choose Zurich as the host destination include the city’s transport links, professional infrastructure, wide range
of sustainable projects, and an attractive programme of events to accompany the
conference. Delegates will also have the chance to visit companies and institutions
involved in the healthcare sector.
The city authorities will use the meeting as an opportunity
to showcase Zurich as a destination for conferences in the life sciences sector, as Vanessa Reis, head of the Zurich Tourism Convention Bureau explained, "Winning the contract for this event has given us a unique
opportunity to put Zurich on the map as a possible destination for association
meetings in the life sciences sector.”
“Securing contracts for conferences naturally requires a lot
of patience, but we are ready to show our illustrious guests the city at its
very best,” Reis added.
