‘Meeting the challenge' at BestCities Global Forum Melbourne edition

BestCities Global Alliance will convene in Melbourne, Australia for its Global Forum in January 2024. 

Taking place between 18 and 21 of January 2024, the annual gathering seeks to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among industry leaders and city representatives.

To aid this, BestCities has curated a knowledge programme with the theme ‘Meeting the Challenge: Creating Connections with Purpose’. Attendees of the 2024 edition will hear from a roster of speakers including Mark McCrindle and Mike van der Viyver.  

McCrindle is a social researcher, best-selling author, influential thought leader and TEDx speaker. McCrindle is recognised as coining the name for the emerging generation, Generation Alpha. 

Meeting designer, Mike van der Viyver, will steer workshops with engaging debate and discussion surrounding association challenges and optimising meeting design.

The forum will explorehow in-person meetings play a vital role in cultivating meaningful connections and purpose for meeting planners, associations, and delegates. Attendees will have the opportunity to network, express their viewpoints, and explore the advantages of investing in conferences for regional stakeholders.
