Event Space & Hotels in Indianapolis, Indiana
The Hoosier capital made a name for itself with fast cars and the race that bears its name, but Indianapolis has likewise revved up its focus on large meetings and event space. The Indiana Convention Center and connected Lucas Oil Stadium offer a combined 745,000 square feet of exhibit space. Indy has 7,100 downtown hotel rooms, 4,700 of which are connected, plus another 50 event venues in the area and more than 300 restaurants. There are 33,000 hotel rooms in the Indianapolis metro area, with more than 3,000 in the downtown pipeline; the city also has two dozen properties that each are outfitted with more than 10,000 square feet of event space.
