GES, a global event services company, has launched a new division in Qatar, further expanding its presence in the Middle East.

The new office is aimed at enhancing the company’s ability to provide localised, on-the-ground support to clients in the region.

GES has been operating in the Middle East for more than 15 years. The expansion into Qatar follows the company’s growth trajectory in the region, having most recently opened an office in Saudi Arabia in 2021.

"We are excited to bring our expertise to Qatar at a time of significant growth in the regional events industry," said Donna Hyland, general manager of GES Middle East. "With our strong presence already established in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, this new location allows us to be more agile and responsive to our clients' needs while continuing to deliver high-quality, reliable services with the local knowledge necessary for success."

Over the past year, GES has delivered several high-profile projects in the Middle East, including COP28, the Dubai Airshow, Arab Health, ADIPEC, and several notable exhibitions in Saudi Arabia such as Big5 Construct, Seamless, and Intersec.
